An Administrator may acquire land under a roads statute to relocate a railway if reasonably connected to road construction; notice description valid.
Roads Ordinance s7(1) – Expropriation ‘for any purpose in connection with the construction of any road’ – scope includes reasonably expedient relocation of services (including railway) causally connected to road construction; justiciability of secondary purposes; adequacy of notice description when plans and prior declaration enable expert identification.
