In terms of Regulation 169(1) of the Companies Regulation, 2011, under the Companies Act of 2008 (Act 71 of 2008), the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission ("the Commission"), hereby gives notice that as per the date published on the CIPC website, www.cipc.co.za, the manual filing channel for company and close corporation re­instatements (Form CoR40.5) via e-mail address re-instatements@cipc.co.za will be de-activated. Companies and Close Corporations must still comply with the filing of all outstanding Annual Returns to complete the re-instatement process after the re-instatement application has been processed. Failure to file all outstanding Annual Returns will result in the company or close corporation being referred to final deregistration.As from the stated date, company and close corporation re-instatements may only be submitted electronically via any of the authorised channels listed on the Commissions website www.cipc.co.za.
