Case summary

A company with limited liability registered in England, but not in the Transvaal, and which was the registered owner of a certain farm situate in the Transvaal, had been dissolved in England some seven years ago. Held, on an application by the Government to have said farm adjudged to it as bona vacantia, that the Government was prima facie entitled to the order claimed. The Court issued a rule acoordingly, on the return of which it was confirmed, there being no opposition.
