Criminal law.-Lottery.-Coupon 9iven with purchase.-Section 6, Law 7 of 1890 .

Case summary

M advertised that any person who purchased five shillings' worth of goods at his place of business for cash would be entitled to a coupon and in respect of these coupons a prize would be given, the allocation whereof would be determined by lot. Held, such a scheme constituted a lottery within the mea.ning of sec. 6 of Law 7 of 1890.
