In terms of sec. 8 (2) of ilct 20 of 1909 every application
for the appointment of a board of conciliation must
be accompanied· by a statement setting out, inter
alia, the names of the parties to the dispute, and sec.
9 (1) reguires that a copy of such application ana
statement be served on the other party to the dispute
:-Held, that the provisions of secs. 8 (J2) and 9 (1) wm·e obligatory, and that the 'Minister could -not appoint a board unles.'J the names of the individual complainants were communicated to the other side.
