The fact that landed property is described in the registered deed of transfer as being portion of certain
town lands is not conclusive that such property does fall within such town lands.

Landed property which was not rateable appeared on the
valuation roll, and no objection was raised :-Held,
that the owner of such property was entitled to refuse
to pay the rates levied thereon.
