Case summary

Sec. 38 (c) of Proc. (Adm.) 18 of 1903 issued under Proc. (Tr.) 37 of 1901 provides that it shall not be lawful for any person within any labour district to harbour any native who is not in his lawful employ, Held that the letting of
premises in such district to a native not in one's employ constituted a contravention of the section.
