Moratorium A.ct 1914, section 5 (5).-Suspension of civil Remedies -Liabilities incurred after discharge from active service.

Section 5 (5) of the Moratorium Act, 1914, provides that civil legal remedies against a member of the Defence Force shall be suspended during the period
which such member is on active service and for three months thereafter, Held, that the suspension did not apply to liabilities or obligations incurred by such member, subsequent to his discharge from active service .
