Criminal Law - Assault - Aggravated Assault - Ord.26 of 1904

 

Case summary

An assault of a serious nature may be an aggravated assault within the meaning of Ord.26 of 1904, even though unaccompanied by violence or physical injury, e.g., an assault of an unprovoked, insolent and wanton nature. Aggravation can be determined only from the circumstances of each case.
