Case summary

Money, deposited with a Magistrate by a prisoner, under a recognisance to appear at the hearing of an appeal from a conviction, such recognisance containing an acknowledgment of debt to "Our Lord the King," is not subject to attachment in the Magistrate's hands in garnishee proceedings instituted under Ord.12 of 1904, sec. 6.
