Case summary

A power of attorney headed " in the magistrate's court of -" granted by a.client to an attorney " to defend proceedings instituted against me . . . and to proceed to the final end and determination thereof," Held, in view of the established practice, to be a sufficient authority to the attorney to note an appeal. Gamsu v. Kotze (supra, p. 294) overruled.
