Case summary

Under section 12 of Proclamation 21 of 1900 the jurisdiction or the magistrate is distributive. Where several claims fall under different headings of section 12 and in respect of any one of these claims his jurisdiction is exceeded in respect of that particular claim the magistrate has no jurisdiction, but his jurisdiction in respect of the other claims is not ousted thereby.
