Flynote

Husband and Wife - Divorce - Condonation of Adultery.
Forgiveness without knowledge of Disease contracted by act of Adultery.

Case summary

On confession of adultery by a husband, forgiveness by his wife and resumption of cohabitation only amount to condonation, if the husband has disclosed all there is to be forgiven; and consequently, if he does not disclose that he is suffering from a venereal disease, contracted by his act of adultery and his wife is ignorant of that fact, she cannot rightly be held to have condoned her husband's o#ence.
