Criminal Procedure – the Appeal Court lacks jurisdiction, in the absence
of a cross-appeal by the State, to reverse the acquittal of the accused – evidence in
relation to common purpose to commit robbery not sufficient to make perpetrators joint
possessors of a firearm under the Firearms Control Act 60 of 2000 – sentence in
respect of offences related in terms of time and place ordered to run concurrently.
