Business.-Registration.-Act 36 of 1909

Case summary

The regulations framed under Act 36 of 1909 prescribe a
form for the registration of a business under the Act.
In a certain completed for-m the spaces for the name
and nature of the business had not been filled in, but
the proprietor's name, the number of his licence and
the natit,re and adllress of the business were inserted
in the space left for the name and address of the
proprietor and his partner if any. Held, that the
requirements of the law had been sufficiently
complied with, that the business had been duly
registned, and that the business could be sued under
the name of the proprietor as appearing in the form.
