Notice of the refusal to register an Asiatic was posted
in terms of sec. 6·(1) of Act 36 of 1908 to the ad~ress
given on the application form Such notice was not
received by the applicant, and consequently no ap~
peal was noted, and in due -course an order of deportation was made. In an application for relief:
-Held, that, as the non-receipt af the notice was
due to the applicant having given his temporary
address it was not a sufficient ground for relief.
