.Under sec. 5 of Act 26 of 1908, which provides a period
of prescription in respect of 'Vindicatory actions
against bona fide possessors of movable.~, an action by
the true owner· against a bona :fide cash purchaser
of stolen goods is prescribed after fourteen days from
the delivery of the goods to the purchaser (DE
