Attorney.-Articled clerk-Brealc in articles.-Called out on active service. - Condonation before expiration of articles. - Ord. 1 (Priv.), 1905, sec. 21.

Case summary

A break in his articles, by an articled clerk, can be condoned by the Court immediately after the break, and before his articles have actually expired. Where an articled clerk had been called out on active service for nine months, and applied after his release, but before the expiration of his articles, for a condonation, the Court condoned the break and extended his articles )for a
period of nine months.
