Case summary

On a serutiny of three votes challenged on the ground of personation and a tendered vote claimed on the same ground petitioner was declared to have obtained more votes than the respondent. A charge of personal bribery must be very clearly proved owing to penal consequences. There is no objection to canvassing by paid agents of candidates.
