Where by a legacy to D the mortgage bonds on a house belonging to him securing a debt of £800 were directed under the will of T to
be cancelled and the debt discharged, and the assets were insufficient for the payment of the legatees in full, Held, that the
legacy was merely that of a debt, and that it must abate proportionately with the other legacies.
