Criminal procedure.-Review.-Ordinance 7 of 1904.-Master

Case summary

Where M engaged D, a driver, for five days, and a cart and horses at £1 a day including D's wages, and D was to obey M's orders, Held, on review, that M was not D's master under Ordinance 7 of 1904, nor a person placed by his master's authority over him, and convfotion and sentence for D's offence under that Ordinance in disobeying M's orders must be quashed.
