Case summary

Where two native traps, employed in obtaining evidence against B of selling liquor to natives, were out of sight of the white policemen in charge for five minutes, and on reappearance were in possession of liquor, and there was no corroboration of the sale, such as the finding of marked money on B's premises, Held, on appeal, that the conviction and sentence must be quashed.
